Simon Robinson

Joining the Close House team in August 2021, Simon Robinson is a Fellow PGA Professional, England Regional Coach and PGA Coach Educator (Tutor), bringing a wealth of experience from the very highest levels of the game.

A former European and World Boys Champion, Simon represented England and Great Britain at both junior and senior level. He earned a scholarship to the University of Houston, one of the world’s leading collegiate golf programmes, before returning to the UK to turn professional. He went on to compete on the European Tour, with a career highlight being victory on the European Challenge Tour in 2008.

Since transitioning into coaching in 2011, Simon has established himself as one of the region’s leading coaches. He works with players across all levels—from developing juniors to elite performers—and has coached at the very highest level, including at The Open Championship in 2019.
