The Pavilion at Close House is a beautifully converted former cricket pavilion situated in the heart of the estate, offering guests an elegant and private retreat. Guests staying in the Pavilion also have access to our Yearling Par 3 Course, located just outside the main entrance. Offering a fun and relaxed golfing experience, the short course provides another opportunity to sharpen your short game and enjoy leisurely golf during your stay.

This beautifully preserved 18th-century building has been thoughtfully decorated with everything you need for a relaxing stay, while also paying homage to the estate’s history and heritage. From its cast-iron wood burner and comfortable L-shaped sofa to its traditional leather armchair, the Lodge is a cosy cottage retreat that feels like a home away from home.
The Lodge features two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom complete with a roll-top bath and walk-in shower. Every detail has been considered to create a comfortable and welcoming space for guests to relax and unwind.
