Introducing Toptracer30

If you’re looking for a bit of structure to your practice sessions and some help improving your game, make sure you try the new game mode on our Golf Academy Toptracer range technology.

Toptracer30 is a 30-shot skills assessment game, simulating various on-course scenarios, ranging from short wedge shots to full drives with post-game analysis giving you a snapshot of your current strengths and weaknesses and some tips for your next practice session.

“This new game has been designed as a bridge between the range and the golf course. There is a range of shots varying in intensity and difficulty, including nine par 4 and 5 tee shots and 21 approach shots. Each shot is evaluated on a variety of variables, from distance and accuracy when driving to hole proximity and green hit when approach,” said one of our Senior PGA teaching pros Tim Cockill

At the beginning of the game, you’ll be asked for a reference handicap, just use your current handicap if you know it, which will be used through the session as a comparison. Through the game you’ll then get real-time feedback on each shot, allowing you to hone-in on where you need to improve to lower your score.

“The level of analysis is great. The in-game feedback really helps you adjust and learn as you go and the final report gives you a performance handicap, based on those 30 shots,” added Tim.

This Toptracer Range technology is just part of the practice facilities and services we offer at the Academy, alongside Trackman, SAM Putt Lab, our custom fit sessions and our fantastic team of PGA teaching professionals who are available to work with you to improve your game.
