Senior PGA Teaching Professional
With over 12 years’ experience in teaching all ages and abilities, Tim brings a wealth of coaching knowledge to the Close House PGA team, which he joined in 2012. Whilst attending Northumbria University, on a golf scholarship, he played in a title-winning university golf team and competed in the British University Championships, before turning pro. Northumberland Academy County Boys and the Royal Artillery British Army teams, are just two of his coaching accolades, as well as being lead coach for Northumbria University First Team and for the Elite Performer Programme for golf scholars at local Thorpe Academy.
Tim leads group and individual coaching sessions at Close House and is heavily involved with our junior coaching programme.
